As you are reading this text, the GC32 catamarans are flying on the Neva in St. Petersburg. At a conference before the start of the competition the skipper of the Russian team Phil Robertson said about GC32: "These boats are very different from the previous ones. They don't go on the water, they go out of the water, it's much more exciting but also harder at the same time". This photo from a training day in St. Petersburg shows perfectly what he meant.
