St. Petersburg received one of the most expensive mega-yachts in the world for a day. The 95-metre Lurssen Kismet («Destiny»), worth about $160 million and owned by Pakistani-American billionaire Shahid Khan , entered the Neva on May 15. The boat remained moored at Angliyskaya Naberezhnaya until the evening of May 16, and then set sail in the direction of Tallinn.

According to «Komsomolskaya Pravda», Kismet was apparently rented. About 12 young Americans came fromFinland , but there is no information about the owner's arrival. The cost of such a trip is estimated at €1.2 million per week.

Some very enterprising passers-by not only photographed Kismet from the shore, but also hoped to get on board. Unfortunately, in spite of prepared passports, they were disappointed.

Meanwhile, in the near future, it will probably be possible to meet such luxury boats in St. Petersburg more often. According to MotorBoat & Yachting Russia magazine, the Russian Northern Capital has a chance to become a part of«Northern Route»- a route for superyachts that will link Amsterdam, Hamburg, London and Scandinavian and Baltic ports.
