Oman Air had a fantastic first day of the final stage of the Extreme Sailing Series: the team showed amazing stability, holding the second position in all but one of the races they won. This result allowed Oman Air to top the stage standings. Phil Robertson's team will need two more boats to separate them from the current leaders, SAP Extreme, to win the championship title. So far, only the Swiss Alinghi is between the rivals.
The last, eighth round of the Extreme Sailing Series started in Mexico City's Los Cabos on November 30.
