"Water is pouring on deck, everyone is wet, everything inside and out is wet, but no one is complaining because everyone knows it won't be long and that we can go many miles in a short amount of time. Plus the water is warm, 19 degrees Celsius, and so is the air temperature," writes Turn The Tide onPlastic, Dee Caffari, describing yesterday's change in weather as the Volvo Ocean Race fleet caught a strong northerly breeze of 20-25 knots. The team is now in 4th place but is cruising at over 30 knots, catching up with the top three - MAPFRE, Dongfeng and Brunel. The photo from the latter illustrates the mood of Sunday very well.
