Perini Navi Tamsen Overview

The yacht Tamsen was commissioned by Robert Fairstone, a famous psychologist living in Santa Barbara, no less famous to our readers. Since childhood, he, his family, and his friends have formed a very close circle of friends called FFF - Fairstone Family and Friends. They built the yacht Tamsen, named after Robert's second wife. Curiously enough, his first wife, Sue, designed the interior of the boat: a veritable Santa Barbara! Other FFF members were involved in this work as well. What's even more curious is that there is no full-time crew on the ship - the same FFF members do the work. (As teenagers, they all spent a year and a half at sea on a small wooden schooner, visiting 23 countries). Therefore, the boat is designed in such a way that the crew quarters take up more space than usual: there is 131 square meters of interior space for six people. To this end, the galley is located on the upper deck, where the owners prepare the meals themselves. The yacht is not chartered (at least at the moment), she is constantly on the move: one day she is seen in New Zealand, the next day in the Arctic.
