The sailing catamaran Necker Belle, formerly known as Lady Barbaretta and Lady B, was built in 2003 and was one of the largest composite pleasure catamarans at the time. In addition to the usual full range of charter services and on-board entertainment, Lady has one unique "feature": When she is hired for charter in the Caribbean, customers also receive a Necker Nymph three-seater pleasure submarine. Both the catamaran and the submarine are owned by Richard Branson, the founder of Virgin Atlantic, the man who has repeatedly attempted (and succeeded!) to set the Atlantic crossing record in a motorboat.
