Cetera 60 Overview

This closed cruising yacht with hardtop is the first model of the Italian shipyard Cetera, established in 2018. The shipyard's concept and its debut boat were presented in January 2019 at the boot Düssseldorf exhibition. The Cetera 60 can be seen live since mid-2019.

Exterior and interior design

The design of the Cetera 60, including hydrodynamics, is entirely created by the studio of Francesco Guida - Guida Design. The design of the 18-metre yacht has been approached as if they were working on a much larger project.

«The main characteristics of this yacht can be summarized as "simple": just live on board, just maintain and just build,"»says Ernesto de Bartolomeis, CEO of the «mother shipyard Cetera» Fiart Mare.

The model is designed according to the original «multispatial» concept of the shipyard. Thanks to it, the total living space exceeds 145 square meters, which is about 30 square meters more than the usual boats of this size. Thanks to a clever layout that takes into account not the horizontal but the vertical, no centimetre from the bow tip to the stern edge is left unused.

«The clear separation of technical and living areas means that a yacht can be built faster and more efficiently, which means savings for the client,"»adds Francesco Guida.

Facilities on board

The lower level of the boat is occupied by the technical rooms and the crew living area. This facilitates the crew's access to the engine room and helps distribute the weight optimally. However, the crew cabin is located as far away from the noisy engines and generator as possible to increase the comfort of the crew's life. The size of the cabin is not stingy. Like everything else on a boat, it is as big as a bigger boat.

Similarly, for reasons of comfort, the guest cabins have been moved to a quiet«area on the» main deck, next to the master cabin. An additional bonus for the VIP and master cabins is the 2-metre high panoramic windows, each cabin (including crew cabin) has its own bathroom.

The bow and aft main deck are connected by a through corridor. The staircase connecting the main deck and the upper deck allows for a second «light in the lobby on the main deck.

The upper deck has an American-style galley and dining area with a table for 8 people, as well as a control post. If desired, windows on the sides and aft and a skylight can be opened to bring the deck closer to the open flybridge.

Features

One of the main features of the Cetera 60 is its cockpit. There are two of them on the main deck at once: the traditional aft deck (which also combines the functions of a beach club by the water) and an additional forward deck. Thus, when the boat is moored aft, guests do not lose a secluded lounge area. All activity is simply moved at the bow.

The Williams Sportjet 285 type tender garage and crane are hidden under the sofa bed aft.

Swimming area

The boat is designed and built in accordance with RINA regulations and in compliance with current EU regulations 94/25 / CE and 2003/44 / CE. She corresponds to category B - offshore «. On the Cetera60, it is possible to go out to sea with a wind of less than 8 points on the Beaufort scale and a wave below 4 meters.
