Discovery Custom 55 is a fast, well balanced ocean cruising yacht. Optimized for two people cruising around the world, she is the ideal choice for small crew management.

Exterior and interior design.

Like the older Custom 58, the boat is designed by Ron Holland and is designed for very comfortable sailing. The weight of the main systems is concentrated as much as possible in the centre of the vessel, with a ballasting ratio of 42% - the result is a yacht with stable cruising and excellent stability. The interior spaces are decorated in a modern and laconic style. The interior has plenty of natural light due to the large glazing area.

The amenities on board

The raised Discovery Custom 55 saloon with 270 degree glazing allows you to enjoy the surrounding scenery (and observe), almost without going into the cockpit. The yacht is available in three cabins with a large and high master suite aft. Forward of the mast is a double guest cabin as well as a pullman double cabin. The longitudinal galley on the starboard side is almost isolated from the rest of the salon. The project has been optimized and, as Discovery Yachts says, only a few clients ask for changes to the original layout of the living area or deck.

With its two front sails (automatic staysail and large genoa), it has proven to be excellent in the entire wind range. Swimming area

Discovery Custom 55 is designed and prepared for ocean travel, a great excuse to go from the Tyrrhenian Sea to the Alboran Sea or from Biscay in Cape Verde. The sinking of the yacht is relatively low, but care must be taken in shallow waters.
