The Sealine C430 is an enclosed yacht that offers a blend of space, innovation, and performance in a sleek, modern design. It’s part of the Bill Dixon-designed range and built in Germany, following the trend of focusing on both comfort and social living. With its coupe design and an option for a flybridge in future models, the C430 is ideal for both leisure cruising and entertaining.
Cockpit and Social Areas
The C430’s layout emphasizes social interaction, starting with the swiveling helm seat that transforms into a part of the dinette area, creating a seamless connection between the helm and the rest of the saloon. This galley aft layout is designed to connect the indoor and outdoor spaces with a lift-up section to the cockpit, making it perfect for entertaining.
Additionally, the yacht features a second cockpit on the foredeck, which offers a private lounging area, particularly useful when moored stern-to in Mediterranean-style marinas. The large sliding roof in the saloon adds an open-air feeling, making the space feel light and airy, even though it’s an enclosed yacht.
Interior and Cabins
The lower deck offers two large, luxurious cabins. Both cabins can be considered as master cabins due to their generous size. The forward cabin features a scissor berth, which can be configured as either two singles or a double bed, and it also includes a private ensuite bathroom.
The aft cabin, often used as the master cabin in British markets, has a door leading to the day heads. Interestingly, this layout can be modified into a three-cabin version, where the aft cabin can be split into two smaller cabins, offering flexible sleeping arrangements for larger groups.
Engines and Performance
Despite being a comfortable cruiser, the C430 is surprisingly fast. The yacht is available with three engine options from IPS 400, 500, or 600, offering varying levels of power and speed. With the most powerful engines, the C430 can achieve speeds of up to 40 knots, providing a thrilling performance on the water.
