Yacht broker itBoat Boutique has closed the sale of motor yacht "Paloma" for a buyer from Ukraine. The 30-metre yacht Paloma was built by Sunseeker shipyard in 2009 for a client from Monaco. The exclusive interior of the yacht was designed by the daughter of the first owner.

Jeremy Comport, broker at Camper & Nicholson's , was responsible for the sale. The asking price was €3.8m.

«"This was an interesting project for a very demanding client," says Nikita Gorchakov, founder and CEO of itBoat Boutique, who represented the buyer. "The Paloma is a yacht with an exquisite interior and is a real work of art. We were able to complete the sale within two weeks, so the new owner will have time to enjoy the season on his new, cruising-ready boat. We are proud of this transaction. Thanks to our colleagues at Camper & Nicholson's for their professionalism and open atmosphere».

«The most remarkable thing about this deal", adds Mr. Gorchakov, "is that the main communication channel with the buyer was the mobile application What's App. In just a few weeks of communication with the client the number of messages exceeded five hundred, two hundred of them being photographs of boats.

We also paid particular attention to the use of new technologies and to social media. We sold yachts on Facebook, Instagram and even Twitter. But through What's App? I think this is the first time it's happened with a boat this size».

«What's next? - he jokes. - Should we start selling yachts through YO? » .

The yacht under the new name "Paloma of London" will remain in the Mediterranean. The owner has no plans to charter her. The management of the boat will be taken over by NAKHIMOV Yachts, which is based in Monaco.
