At the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2014 Benetti will showcase the first Fast Displacement boat -Cheers46.
She is equipped with a D2P (Displacement to Planing, which means «Displacement to Planing») hull, which helps to save fuel and reach a decent speed (cruising 12 knots; max speed over 20 knots).
She is also equipped with the largest engine built by Benetti's Viareggio yard, the twin MTU 12V 4000 M93L 3500, and CMC Marine's electric stabilizers.
The yacht, the first member of the Veloce 140 series, has been built for a Brazilian client and features a custom interior design by RWD-Redman Whiteley Dixon. Stefano Riggini has worked on the exterior of the vessel.
The boat can be seen in Florida from October 30 to November 3.
