During the Monaco Yacht Show, IMS Shipyard announced that it will open its new production facility on 15 December 2014. The IMS 700 project will be located in the heart of Toulon, France, on the site of the former Saint-Mandrier air-sea base.

The finished base will be able to accommodate one hundred vessels from 20 to 80 metres in length at the same time and will be able to handle them throughout the year. It will also double the capacity of the Saint-Mandrier shipyard and give it the capability to service larger boats (up to 90m LOA).

With a total of 80 employees, the facility is being built at a pace of 20,000 hours. The area of IMS 700 is 130 thousand square meters.

IMS Shipyard was founded in 1987. Since 1992, the shipyard has been actively providing repair services and technical support for ships of various manufacturers.
