Four-time Olympic champion Ben Ainslie and Sir Keith Mills have established a new 1851 Trust in Portsmouth. The organisation is to encourage young people's interest in sailing and to educate and train young talent. The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate, has been the patron of the charity's endeavour.

Prince William's wife has long been interested in yachting. This summer she was invited to an event to announce Ben Ainslie Racing's participation in »the America's Cup «, and just before that she participated in a mini regatta.
