On Thursday, October 23, 2014, the conference hall of the Institute of Geography of the Russian Academy of Sciences will host a meeting with Andrei and Elena Nevzorov, travelers known for circumnavigating the globe on the ten-meter yacht Delta. The yachtsmen's presentation entitled «He, She and the Ocean» will be held as part of the commission «Geography of Sea Voyages».
The commission «Geography of Sea Voyages» was created in the spring of 2014 by a group of enthusiasts, the project includes meetings with travelers, scientists, writers, and athletes. The key theme of all the society's conversations is the sea. Andrei and Elena will share with the audience about their voyage across three oceans, along five continents.
The event starts at 19:00 and will take place at the address: Moscow, Staromonenty per. 29, conference hall of the Institute of Geography of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Admission is free.
