Riva Ferrari speedboat from 1990 will be sold at Sotheby's auction

Auction at Sotheby's on 14 May in Monaco will feature the Riva Ferrari 32, built by the Italian shipyard in 1990 in collaboration with the car manufacturer Ferrari.

Only 30 hulls of this model, reminding with their appearance of Formula 1 race cars «» were produced.

The vehicle that will be auctioned boasts low mileage - its two 390hp BPM Vulcano 400 engines have logged a total of 70 hours in operation.

The seller did not set the starting price for a bright-red speedboat with a prancing horse on the hull, but the auctioneers believe that the lot will be sold for at least 180 thousand euros.

At the beginning of March it became known that Riva became the sponsor of the Ferrari team «Formula 1». The shipyard's logo appeared on the helmets of team drivers Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel.
