A German container ship accidentally stumbled upon a vessel adrift in Atlantic waters. A fisherman, who had spent a total of 66 days in the ocean, was on board the malfunctioning boat, the media reported.

Louis Jordan had gone fishing on a 10-meter yacht, but did not return home in time and was reported first missing and then missing. However, last Thursday, April 2, the man was found 360 kilometers from Cape Gatteras.

The American was taken to a hospital in Norfolk ( Virginia, USA). Doctors stated that he was not injured.

The press has already managed to call the fate of the sailor «an unheard-of feat of endurance», but the victim himself says that he was saved mostly by his fishing skills - he got his food by catching and drinking rainwater.
