Porto Montenegro Marina will host the first superyacht exhibition in Montenegro. The event, organized with the participation of the World Yachting Association MYBA, is scheduled for September 3-5.
For the time being, the programme of the boat show is being kept secret, but as for now, the event shall include boats, registered in MYBA, starting from 20 metres long. Porto Montenegro is equipped with berths for superyachts up to 180 metres, so the upper limit is very high.
Porto Montenegro marina is located in the Gulf of Kotor, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There are apartment complexes, fine restaurants, bars, sports and entertainment venues in close proximity to the port and marina.
Montenegro's favourable legislation and location outside the EU zone (which means 0% VAT on charters and duty free fuel) makes it an attractive base for yacht charters. In addition, the location also allows for fascinating itineraries, such as over 4000 islands en route from Croatia to Greece.
