The Russian team New Star Racing won the race «24 Hours of Rouen» in the Formula 2 class of ships and in the overall standings. The winning crew included four people: Alex Carella, Roman Vandyshev, Konstantin Ustinov and Dmitry Vandyshev.
The «24 Hours of Rouen» otherwise known as «endurance race», as it is held in a marathon format. This year it was held for the 51st time and lasted from 10 am to 1 am on May 1st and from 9 am to 6 pm on May 2nd. During that time, teams covered about 2000 kilometers at a maximum speed of 208 km/h. The winners of the race were distinguished in three classes of boats: Formula 1, Formula 2, Formula 4.
Previously the crews flying the Russian flag also successfully participated in the competition: last year the New Star Racing Team made their debut with two boats of the class Formula 2 and won the bronze medal.
