Classic yacht owners united in an association

Classic yacht owners founded the Classic Yacht Owners Association (CYOA).

One of the founders and visionary behind CYOA is Matt Brooks, owner of the famous Dorade, and Clark Poston has been appointed as its executive director. Until now, there has been no structure representing the interests of the classic yacht fleet and its owners.

CYOA was created as a platform for communication between owners of vintage wooden sailing boats, yacht clubs, organizers of regattas, shipyards and restorers who specialize in restoring such boats or building replicas of them. Another of its tasks is to popularize classic yachts, increase interest in owning such vessels, organize and participate in thematic regattas.

During the first year of its existence, membership is free of charge.

To join CYOA, you need to fill out a registration form on the organization's website.
