From July 24 to August 30 Saint-Petersburg will host the Big Sailing Week. The large-scale event will combine sport competitions and city festivals.
In particular, II St. Petersburg Marine Festival, V Oranienbaum Marine Festival, All-Russian youth windsurfing regatta «Baltic Sea Cup», Championship of Russia in team racing, Championship of St. Petersburg River Yacht Club, stage of «Cup of Class Association «SB20» and other child and adult competitions will fall on these days.

The main aim of such events is to draw attention to yachting, development of sailing traditions in St. Petersburg and increasing the city's attractiveness for foreign tourists.
