The 54m Benetti FB 258 has been named Karianna and was delivered to her owner earlier this month.
The elegant exterior of the superyacht has been developed by Benetti's in-house design division. A red line marking the waterline contrasts with the dark blue hull colour. The interiors of Karianna, designed by Francois Zuretti, are dominated by cherry wood. 12 guests are accommodated in 6 cabins. She accommodates a crew of 11 and there are living quarters as well.
Karianna is powered by twin Caterpillars 3512C, providing 4,734hp. Her maximum speed is limited to 17 knots. At a cruising speed of 12 knots, she can travel 4,000 miles without refueling.
Two other projects are currently under construction at Benetti docks - the 63-metre FB 276, due to be launched in 2017, and the 107-metre FB 277, due to be completed in 2019.
