Logex organized delivery of a houseboat weighing over 35 tons from Saratov to Sayano-Shushenskaya HPP. The length of» « house on water was 28 metres, and the width was 5.5 metres. It took one and a half months to prepare the transportation, and its implementation took four weeks.
On the way of the cargo «stood in the way of» bridge with a high curb in its central part. The specialists cleverly set the kerb beneath the road train carrying the hausbot. The road clearance was increased by means of a planking, which had to be moved as the road train moved along.
«Another» obstacle course on the route of the hausbot was a 12-kilometer stretch of unpaved, steep-sloped mountain road. Here, two eight-axle tractor-vehicles were used to secure the load.
