The organizers of Extreme Sailing Series have published the schedule of the series' stages for 2017. For the first time in 6 years two stages of the regatta will be held in North America - in San Diego(USA) and Los Cabos (Mexico). The Mexican city will host the Extreme Sailing Series for the first time.
Expanding the geography of the races will increase the list of participants in the series. Extreme Sailing Series director John Craig expects 8-10 crews to participate next year.
Extreme Sailing Series 2017 starts on March 8 in Muscat. Then «flying» the GC32 catamarans will come to Qingdao, Madeira, Europe, Hamburg and Cardiff. New to the Extreme Sailing Series, the final two stages will take place: Oct. 19-22 in San Diego and Nov. 30-Dec. 3 in Los Cabos.
