A Group has unveiled an 85m A470 concept with what it claims is a revolutionary use of interior space.
A Group asked the owners of the largest superyachts to find out what they were dissatisfied with. It was found out that on large yachts there are too many redundant zones. For example there can be several dining and saloon areas. « unnecessary» rooms are rarely used when they could be more rationally used.
In the A470, the designers tried to solve this problem. There is no redundancy in the A470: it has only one dining area and one saloon, but they are huge and have very high ceilings. Furthermore, the superyacht will be equipped with a large indoor cinema, gym and spa. For outside relaxation there will be a sun deck with swimming pool, jacuzzi and bar, and a beach club aft.
Externally the A470 will feature a low profile with a sleek hull line. The boat is also characterized by shark fin windows which are a signature feature of A Group's design products.
A Group has previously designed the interiors for the 135m Atom Yachtzoo.
