Alexander Marine has unveiled the 30.5-metre Ocean Alexander 100 at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show.

Like the brand's other yachts, the OA 100 comes as a turn key - she is ready to go to sea immediately.

The exterior and naval architecture have been designed by the yard's engineers. The interior has been designed by the renowned interior designer Evan Marshall, who has included special features to enhance the yacht's charterability. The décor features noble materials like wood, marble, etc.

The layout of the OA 100 is traditional and progressive, responding to the Owner's needs. The yacht has a spacious airy saloon filled with natural light due to the huge windows, with a lounge, bar, dining area for eight and a comfortable galley.

«Thanks to advanced technology, the yard has equipped this yacht with the largest windows in her class," says Giampaolo Murzi, president of Giaroli, Ocean Alexander's official dealer in Europe, Russia and Turkey. - Her living areas are as extensive as those on megayachts. The large galley and crew mess makes the Ocean Alexander 100 ideal for private use by the owner or for chartering».

There are also two outdoor areas on the main deck: a panoramic lounge with a C-shaped sofa and table forward that can be shaded from the sun, and an outside dining area aft.

Ocean Alexander 100 comes in two versions of the upper deck, with either a flybridge or a panoramic lounge. In the second version, there is no optional sun control on the sun deck, and the area is sheltered from the wind and sun by windows and a roof, making it ideal for all weathers. Each version has a grill, bar, 48" TV, fridge and Jacuzzi on the upper deck. A 6-metre tender is housed aft.

There are also two cabin layouts. In one, all four staterooms, including an expansive master suite with walk-in closet, large windows and a spacious bathroom, are located on the lower deck. In the other, the owner's suite is moved to the main deck.

The shipyard uses the latest sound and vibration insulation technologies to ensure maximum guest comfort. Onboard noise and vibration levels are among the lowest of its competitors, down to 1/2 to 1/10th of the ISO-6954 standard.

The OA 100 is a classic Ocean Alexander. She has a sporty character and yet is economical in terms of fuel consumption at cruising speed. Inside the engine compartment are a pair of Caterpillar C32 ACERT 1925 hp engines. The yacht will reach 25 knots. At a cruising speed of 10-12 knots, consumption is only 90 litres per hour with a cruising range of more than 3000 nautical miles.
