The 63rd edition of the London Boat Show will be held at ExCeL London in Newham from 6-15 January. The list of exhibitors includes over 300 companies.

The show will feature world premieres by Princess Yachts, Sunseeker International, Cobra Ribs and Nautilus Yachting.

For the first time, Princess Yachts will feature the Princess S60 with seating for up to 6 guests. The Princess S60 boasts generous outdoor deck space, a large flybridge that gives the impression of being on an oversized yacht and an impressive top speed of 38 knots. Her interiors feature clean simple lines with clean lines and clean geometry, calm and soothing tones, and the use of natural materials.

The Sunseeker shipyard will be bringing two world premieres to London, the Manhattan 66 and 68 Sport Yacht.

The Manhattan 66 concept is a favourite with Sunseeker customers who have sold 28 of the yachts before the launch of the first hull. She is characterized by her outdoor seating areas and large windows in the superstructure and hull, which allow for plenty of natural light inside the yacht. Sunbathing areas are situated at the rear of the main deck and on the flybridge with a well equipped wind bar. The swimming platform is wide enough to launch a Williams 385 RIB. The beach club on the transom can be equipped with a barbecue, reclining seats and showers at the owner's request. With the kitchen located on the main deck, the lower deck accommodates four passenger cabins and a crew stateroom with access from the transom. The master stateroom has a private staircase that leads up to the main salon.

The 68 Sport Yacht has a redesigned exterior with new glazing that increases the amount of natural light in the interior areas, giving the yacht an even sportier look. The cockpit has an innovative glass door that can be folded down completely, creating a single space from the control station to the transom. The lower deck features three guest cabins accommodating up to 6 guests and a crew cabin. The full-beam master suite has a spacious bathroom and walk-in dressing area. The flybridge is equipped with a large U-shaped sofa, wind bar and sun loungers. The 68 Sport Yacht has a top speed of 38 knots.

Celebrity guests on the show include Olympic gold medallist Saskia Clarck, one of the few sailors to have made a non-stop round-the-world trip in both directions, Mike Golding, Brian Thompson and Pete Cumming from the Phaedo3 trimaran team who recently finished first in the RORC Transatlantic Race.

There will be live music on the London Stage main stage all 10 days of the event. There will also be shows of clothing by yacht brands. You can have lunch and enjoy the view of moored boats in The Dream Lodge Marina & Boating Lake. Nearby is the Watersports Park.

The London Boat Show will include the Best Marina Awards 2017.
