The first 74-metre limited edition Amels 242 was photographed being transported from the main hangar to dry dock #2. The yacht will soon be handed over to her owner.

The relocation of the second largest superyacht ever built by a Dutch yard is due to the need to free up space for other projects.

The exterior of Amels 242 was designed by Tim Heywood, while the Winch Design studio is responsible for the interiors. The yachts in this series feature a high level of customisation.

The first hull in the series features two large VIP staterooms, each with dressing room, guest room and study in addition to the bedroom and bathroom.

The 240 square meter master suite has two bathrooms (her and his) and a study. Large glass sliding doors lead to the aft deck converted into a private living area for the owner.

The lower deck has a spa area with sauna, steam room, gym and retractable swim platform. The garage accommodates two 9.5m tenders.

Amels is simultaneously building two 242-series buildings. Both have already found their buyers. The second in the 74-metre series will be launched in 2017.
