Training Regatta has launched a course of lectures on meteorology. The lectures are delivered by Leonid Dubaykovsky, candidate of geographical sciences, specialist in coastal hydrodynamics and marine meteorology. From 2008 to 2013 he coached Russian national sailing team.
The course consists of six sessions of 4 academic hours. Course attendees will learn which physical processes move the air masses, how the coastline affects the wind, and learn to predict phenomena such as squalls, tornadoes and tornadoes.
