Canados shipyard has sold the first hull of the entry-level model of the Oceanic line of compact explorers.

The Oceanic class vessel is under construction. Her hull and superstructure will be joined together at the end of March.

The first hull of the Oceanic 76 was sold even before the official release of the new model, according to a statement from the shipyard.

The yacht is powered by two Caterpillar C18 1150 «horses each» and reaches speeds of up to 26 knots. Like her bigger brothers, the Oceanic 76 boasts extensive outdoor seating areas aft and a large flybridge sheltered from the weather by a wing-shaped hardtop.

The entire superstructure is made of Kevlar for greater stability.

The Oceanic 76 is available in two versions with three or four cabins. The galley can be fully enclosed (then it will be located at the front of the boat) or open for an American-style layout (located aft). The latter can be accessed from both the main salon and the aft deck, where an al-fresco dining area has been set up.

Floor-to-ceiling side glass panels give the main saloon a spectacular view of the sea. The garage will accommodate a 3.85 metre tender and a three-seater jet ski on the hydraulic swim platform.
