Designer Adam Voorhees presented the concept of a 70-metre sailing yacht created in collaboration with Dykstra Naval Architects. The client wanted a fast superyacht with a high level of comfort. The future owner insisted that the yacht must be in accordance with the traditional concept of sailing but at the same time make use of the latest technologies.
Dykstra Naval Architects were responsible for the technological part. They designed the hull and sailing plan to make the yacht fast and easy to handle at the same time. The use of modern materials in the hull design allowed the vessel's weight to be reduced. She will be equipped with a hybrid propulsion system and all of the latest navigation and onboard systems.
As for the need for high comfort on board, the concept meets it perfectly. She features a private lounge and owner's cockpit with a luxurious bathroom and an office.
The boat accommodates two tenders - an 8.5m limotender for guests and a 6.5m crew boat. The tenders can be stored in the bow, with the tender garage converted into an indoor pool, as on the Wider 150.
