Haven Kakumae marina with 300 berths for boats up to 30 metres is in operation in Tallinn.

So far the project is not fully completed: the boathouse with 250 winter storage places has not been built, the permanent administration building has not been erected, there are no shops and restaurants. These objects are promised to be completed within two years. It will take up to five years to build the residential complex of the marina, which will offer apartments for ownership.

When completed, the marina will be the only five-star port in the Baltic States, the owners promise.

Haven Kakumae is securely protected from big waves by the Kakumae Peninsula and breakwaters. A 25-metre-wide slipway and a 130-tonne crane will provide for easy launching and hauling.

The marina will be home to Tallinn Yacht Club and the Sailing School. The Yacht Club building will be equipped with everything necessary for teaching sailing, including a workshop and a fitness room.

The cost of berth starts from 25 Euro per day or 250 Euro per month for boats less than 10 meters. Parking is free for 3 hours.

At the moment the marina is not even half full. «But on one of the moorings is Akella from St. Petersburg» which will take part in Tall Ships Races on 17-18 July during Tallinn Maritime Days.
