Construction has started at Sanlorenzo's docks in La Spezia on a 64-metre superyacht, the new flagship of the Italian yard's range.
The boat is being built in Sanlorenzo's new production facility for yachts from 40 to 80 metres. The 64-metre vessel is planned to be ready by 2019. According to Sanlorenzo, the yard has already found a buyer.
The new 64m yacht will have an impressive interior volume of 1,500 BRT. Her elegant hull lines have been rendered by Officina Italiana Design. The yard also promises innovative interiors but no renders of the interiors have been made public yet. All that is known is that there will be six or seven guest cabins as well as nine crew cabins.
The new flagship Sanlorenzo will be equipped with either two CAT 3516C 2375 hp or two MTU 16V 4000 M63 to reach 17 knots.
