The 33-metre superyacht Perlo Nero ran aground on the St. Ante Channel in Sibenik, Croatia on Friday night to Saturday last week.

On Monday the vessel was still in the same position, local news resource sibenik.in reported . The owners sought advice from their insurance company to determine if the yacht could be unshoaled without hiring a costly crane.

By law, owners have five days to remove the vessel. Otherwise, after that period, they will be fined and the yacht will be removed by local authorities.

No damage to the vessel or pollution has been reported as a result of the incident.

The 33.2m Perla Nero was built by the Turkish yard Cyrus Yachts in 2007. She has a composite hull and superstructure. The yacht underwent a refit in 2010. She can accommodate up to 10 guests in five cabins. Perla Nero has a relatively shallow draft (1.4 meters) and a high top speed (24 knots).
