Italian shipyard Rossinavi, in collaboration with designer Ken Freivokh, has unveiled the design for the 48-metre expedition yacht Argo. The yacht in Fast displacement type hull will be built completely in aluminium. She will have an interior volume of less than 500 BRT.

With a large garage, Argo can be used as a supply vessel for larger yachts.

Two custom built cranes are provided on board the Explorer, which can carry up to four tenders or a submarine or any type of amphibious landing craft on her generous stern deck.

Explorer's layout provides guest staterooms for 12 people. The owner has an entire deck with a full-beam master suite, terrace and study area, as well as a double cabin that can be used as a VIP suite, master suite or nanny suite.

«There is a spiral staircase leading up to» with glass walls and a 360-degree view.

Crew and guest paths cross as little as possible; thus there is a separate staircase for the crew that connects the storerooms to the bridge deck.

A pair of Rollce-Royce engines with rudderpropellers provide good maneuverability, while gyroscopic stabilizers ensure smooth sailing. Argo has a maximum cruising range of 5,000 miles.
