It took a little over two months for US bank Goldman Sachs to sell the 66-metre Natita, which was taken over from its former owner for loan debts.

In August this year, US authorities seized the vessel from oil tycoon William Kallop, who had not made monthly payments since November 2016 even though he owed the bank another $28 million, and handed her over to a lender.

The proceeds from the sale of the superyacht, $27.5 million, covered most of the debt, but Goldman Sachs had to spend $438,000 on the boat during its ownership.

The buyer preferred to remain incognito, known only that he lives in Malta. The deal turned out to be very lucrative for the new owner, because before the court proceedings boat was valued at $ 57.5 million.

The yacht was named «Natita» after her second owner, Kallop. Initially she was built by the Dutch shipyard Oceanco for the Russian oligarch Alisher Usmanov and was called Dilbar. In 2010, the businessman sold her to the American oil magnate for €59.9 million.

Since then Usmanov has changed two superyachts and now he owns the world's largest yacht by gross tonnage, made by the German shipbuilder Lurssen.
