Horizon Yachts has added the FD102 to its Fast Dispalcement range of 31.7m yachts. Like the other two models in the series, the FD74 and FD85, the FD102 is designed by Cor D. Rover. Externally, they are distinguished by a bow with a vertical bow and huge floor-to-ceiling windows in the main saloon.

When designing the lineup, the designer focused on safety, maximizing usable space and creating thoughtful seating areas.

«Many clients look to Horizon for a midsize yacht that they can enjoy with family and friends," said Cor Di Rover. - Entertainment is an important factor for them when deciding on a layout. Ease of operation is also a significant factor».

A key feature of the largest boat in the series, the FD102, is the large open sandbox with fold-down balconies on both sides, which further enhances the al-fresco dining area. Like the other yachts in the series, the FD102 boasts a spacious saloon with large glazed areas. The master stateroom is located on the main deck and spans the full beam like the FD85. On the lower deck are two VIP cabins with double beds and two cabins with twin beds.

A tender storage area on the upper deck has been fitted with a davit, thus freeing up the transom for the beach club, which can be converted to an additional cabin.

Forward staterooms for a crew of six are provided. The yacht is equipped with two CAT C32 ACERT 1900 hp engines.

Horizon first announced the new Fast Displacement series in March 2016 at the Taiwan Boat Show, where the shipyard brought the first FD85 hull. Currently, three hulls of this model have already been sold. As for the FD102 and the base FD74, they are in the final stages of design and engineering.

The 22.5m FD74 has generous interior volumes to accommodate eight people in four guest cabins. A spacious aft deck leads to the main salon and kitchen located forward. Directly above is the raised wheelhouse. On the bridge deck is a large bar. Designed to be easily handled by the owner himself, the FD74 has a crew cabin for two located forward. «There is a choice of two engine configurations: two CAT C18A 1136 hp or two MAN V8 1,200» horses each.

The FD85 has five guest cabins. A full-beam master suite is located on the main deck, two VIP suites and two twin cabins are on the lower deck. On flybridge there is an open control station, bar, two dinettes and a whirlpool tub. The model is equipped with two CAT C18's of 1600 hp and will reach a cruising speed of 10-20 knots.
