Numarine launched the first 32XP hull, sold in June 2016. The ceremony took place in Istanbul, Turkey, in the presence of the owner, a long-time customer of the yard.
The main deck features a spacious cockpit with a total living area of 64 square meters with a sunbathing area aft, behind the sofa. The 48 square meters saloon leads to the lobby with day head and gym on starboard side, which in turn leads to the full beam master suite at the bow of the boat. The master stateroom measures 30 square metres and contains en-suite facilities for him and her with a shared central shower.
At midships port side is a fully equipped galley with four full-size refrigerators, which has access to the salon via a pantry room, and access to the crew quarters on the deck below. In addition to the crew quarters for 5 persons with ensuite bathroom for the captain, the lower deck has two VIP double cabins, all with ensuite bathrooms. Total living area on the lower deck is 85 square meters. The crew area includes a galley with dinette and laundry.
A large forward lounge area with sofas and cocktail table is covered by a bimini. A further forward seating area on the flybridge offers three sofas, a dining table seating 12, two large sun pads, a fully equipped bar and a second control station.
The displacement hull design of the compact Explorer was developed by naval architect Umberto Tagliavini. The vessel has a cruising speed of 14 knots and can travel 3,000 miles at an economical 9 knots without refuelling.
The Numarine 32XP is one of three models in the new range of compact explorers. The largest yacht in the range is the 40XP, the smallest is the 25.2m 24XP, whose first hull found a buyer in May 2016.
