The Horeca Cup gastronomic regatta takes place in Moscow from June to August. As part of the regatta, restaurateurs and hotels are competing in their sailing skills and culinary talents. The regatta has 10 stages, the winners of each stage will meet in the final.

Winners are determined according to the results of calculation of points gained in two competitions - a race on yachts of J70 class in the water area of Khimki reservoir and a homemade culinary task. According to the rules, the teams prepare in advance and bring with them cold snacks and cakes made on the sea and sailing themes.

Participation in the Horeca Cup is free of charge. Experience in sailing is not required: each boat has a professional skipper. Among them are world champion Maxim Taranov and four-time Olympic champion Oleg Khopersky.

By the way, it is the skippers who judge the taste of dishes prepared by the teams as homework. The jury is headed by restaurant critic Nadezhda Slavutskaya.

Two of the ten stages of the regatta have already been completed. The winners of the first stage were the team of European cuisine restaurant Mary Jane bar, the winners of the second stage were Japanese cuisine chain «Sushi set». You can join the regatta at any stage.
