The Russian Sailing University has opened in Russia - an online project with author's courses, articles and tutorials in the field of sailing and yachting.
Anyone can choose a course he or she likes and complete the training online, receiving relevant competences and knowledge supported by a personal protected certificate.
At the moment courses on basics of meteorology, strategy and tactics of sailing races, international sailing rules, BCP tests, English language courses for yachtsmen are available on the University website. The courses on rigging, safety on the water, general physical preparation of yachtsmen and others are to be published soon. The courses are paid. For example, the cost of the course «Competent member of the team» is 9900 rubles.
As of today Sportfleet, 7Yachts, Sail Academy, Sailing Club «Skipper», Moscow Yachting School, yachting school «Captain Polo», Chair of Physical Education of Higher School of Economics confirmed their readiness to accept students with RSU certificates for training and practice.
The Honorary Rector of the University is the famous yachtsman Victor Potapov. The Board of Trustees of the University includes presidents of sailing federations of Moscow and Moscow region Sergey Dzhienbaev and Valery Pilchin.
