Royal Huisman to present Marlin superyacht project in Monaco

Dutch shipyard Royal Huisman promises to unveil its new 49.25m Marlin at «Monaco Yacht Show 2017».


As the vessel is built using aluminium produced to International Maritime Register Lloyd's certification, it is not expected to be completed until 2020 at the earliest. Visitors to the Monaco Boat Show will be able to admire a scale model of the project.

The classic Marlin hull was designed by naval architect German Frers and the interior by Stirling & Co.

The yacht can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests. They will be provided with five cabins, including an owner's cabin, all of which will be equipped with the latest multimedia. Moreover, there will be a crew quarters for 10 persons.

All information about the vessel has not been disclosed yet, but it is already known that Marlin will be equipped with two Caterpillar C32 ACERT diesel engines rated at 850 hp and capable of speeds up to 17 knots.

Without refuelling she will be capable of a 4,300 nautical mile range at 12 knots.

Judging by the renderings presented, the boat will feature large outdoor seating areas including a spacious sun deck.

A further flagship 81m RH400 is currently under construction at the Dutch yard, and is also due for launch in 2020.
