В Cannagh the first boat in the new Pershing 9X range was unveiled, dubbed Najati.
Like her predecessor, the Pershing 92, she has been designed around the 28.14 metre hull.
The Najati features carbon fibre as one of the main construction materials and a larger cockpit with a huge sun pads. She retains the Pershing-like wings integrated into the superstructure.
Speaking at a press conference in Cannes, Italian yard manager Alberto Galassi said: «This is a huge boat that on the surface looks small which makes her fantastic».
The four cabins, designed by Antonio Luppi, accommodate eight guests. The largest, the master stateroom, is located in the middle of the boat, occupying the entire width of the boat. The designers also took care of the crew, preparing berths for three people.
Two MTU 16V2000 M96Ls push the yacht to a truly sporting speed of 42 knots.
And with a cruising speed of 38 knots, the Najati can travel up to 380 nautical miles thanks to the 9000 litre fuel tanks.
The launch of this new model has been a great success: the yard has already sold three hulls and is finishing negotiations with a fourth buyer.
At Cannes Yachting Festival 2017 the Ferretti Group fleet consisted of 25 new yachts, including Custom Line Navetta 33, Ferretti 780, Ferretti 920, Riva 100 Corsaro and Rivale 56.
