A Dutch shipyard Oceanco joined forces with renowned designer by Luis de Basto. (Luiz de Basto) to create a new 90-metre yacht called Cosmos.

What makes the concept so extraordinary is the huge glass dome that covers the entire upper deck. It will allow the owner to be fully immersed in the surroundings while maintaining maximum comfort.

One can only imagine sipping a cocktail on the couches in the Skylounge, watching the New Year's Eve fireworks in Sydney Harbour or the Northern Lights in the Norwegian Fjords.
«The glass dome, although it looks simple, was extremely difficult to be designed to follow all the rules»," comments de Basto.

The attraction of the upper part of the ship doesn't end there. «The sliding glass doors offer access from the» dome to a terrace with a spa pool and relaxation area.

A helipad is planned for the bow of the boat, while a spacious swimming pool surrounded by sun pads is planned for the stern. The interior of the yacht will have multiple living and dining areas designed according to the owner's wishes.

Oceanco's engineering department has carefully analyzed the structure of the design project to ensure that the construction of the yacht is technically feasible.

The yard has had two recent notable launches. One is the 110m (100ft) Jubileewhich this autumn in Monaco won prizes in the categories «best exterior design» and «best superyacht». Another, no less interesting, is a 106-metre sailing boat Black Pearlbuilt for Russian businessman and Forbes member Oleg Burlakov.
