Axis Wake Research has always been at the top of the list for modern riders. And its best-selling model A20 is considered one of the best water sports boats.

For the restyled version of the sport tug, the shipyard has equipped the A20 with Surf Band, which allows remote control of the boat.

» Surf Band is «smart wristband, which synchronizes with the control center and allows the rider to control some functions of the boat from a distance.

This technology was first introduced by the creators of Malibu Boats, but Axis has brought it to fruition. The wristband allows riders to control selected functions of the boat independently of the pilot. Now, a rider can independently switch the wave, control the speed of the tow boat within a predetermined range and adjust the volume of the speakers installed on the Axis A20 Tauer. Another useful feature of the Surf Band is the ability to create the desired wave shape by remotely switching the plow position on the command center.

Thanks to the Power Wedge II control system, which replaces the previous Auto Set Wedge, just about any kind of wave can be simulated: the new Axis A20 comes up to plane instantly and its plough has seven different positions.

All of this is controlled by the hydraulic Surf Gate technology which allows the creation of any wave required.

In addition to these critical enhancements, the 2018 model gets an expanded color range that extends to single- or dual-axle trailers, and updated on-board graphics.

All of the restyled A20 version's dashboard toggles have been replaced with soft silicone buttons to prevent moisture and ensure smooth operation.

The redesigned model has preserved the rider-favorite qualities of previous models: high sides, large storage compartments and unique ballast system with a maximum capacity of 1801 kg.

The most important advantage of any A20 model is its hull, which has a unique structure and geometry that allows it to be easily stored in a standard garage unit during winter time. The restyled version is 6.75m long and 2.49m wide.

«The Axis A20 is often referred to as» the little monster, it's great for small bodies of water and has plenty of power.

CEO Jack Springer says Axis is setting the trend in its market segment, the A20 not only combines the latest technology but is also relatively budget-friendly. The new A20 will be the choice of the rider who appreciates functionality, diversity, and high quality. And all this splendor can be housed in an ordinary garage.
