Rupert Mur doch, the head of media holdings 21st Century Fox and News Corp was urgently hospitalized from his son's yacht because of a severe back injury. The accident occurred while the tycoon's family was vacationing in the waters of the Caribbean.

Murdoch, 86, was evacuated by helicopter and taken to hospital after a bad fall, details of which have not been released.

The media baron is already on the mend but will have to spend a few weeks at home.

At the same time, he does not intend to leave work issues and has informed his colleagues that he will be working remotely all this time.
