The Who is Who sailing regatta website has posted the results of the race held at the «Walnut Ba»y Yacht Club from August 29 to September 2. The race was held in several categories. The best among cruisers was Andrey Anfinogenov, among veterans - Alexander Grigorin-Ryabov, in women's classification Anastasia Salakhutdinova won, the consolation race prize went to Evgeny Mikrukov. The best of the best was Kadyr Alan from Estonia.
Let us remind you that «Who's Who» is a regatta on yachts «Luch» in a racing format with helmsmen transplantation, the idea of which is to minimize the influence of the sailplane on the result.
This year regatta gathered 70 racers (it has been held for 12 years) from different cities of Russia, as well as from Ukraine, Belorussia and Estonia. During three days 76 races were held, the atmosphere of which was close to match races. Boats are provided not only by the organizers, but also by the participants. Fleet this year amounted to 32 boats, as noted by Andrew Poltanov, one of the organizers of the race, «only 2-3 can be said that it «wood», the rest are all more or less good». Improvement of the equipment is at the top of the Who is Who development plans.
