The flagship of the Custom Line brand, part of the Ferretti Group, has been launched at the Ancona facility. The Navetta 42, a 42-metre yacht of over 300 gross-tonne displacement, is the largest semi-displacement boat in the yard's history.

The yacht has been designed by the Zuccon International Project studio in collaboration with the Ferretti Group engineers. She looks very similar to her predecessors, the Navetta 33 and Navetta 37, but with a number of advantages thanks to innovative solutions in the use of generous spaces.

The Navetta 42 is a production model (construction of the next three hulls has already begun), with plenty of scope for customizing the exterior and interior layout.

The megayacht comes with five different engine options from 1,400 to 1,825 hp and boasts a transatlantic range of 3,000 nautical miles at 10 knots.

The first Navetta 42 hull was sold in the summer of 2017. It features a spacious master suite on the main deck and four VIP staterooms on the lower deck. The crew area provides accommodation for six, including the captain's cabin on the upper deck near the main wheelhouse.

The aft area features a large beach club that descends to water level. The yacht has a garage for the tender and water toys, which opens laterally and has an advanced launching system.

The yacht will soon be handed over to her owner and will be officially premiered at the Cannes Yachting Festival which will be held from 6 to 11 September.
