A new megayacht toy that looks like a starship will be unveiled at the Dubai Boat Show, which opened yesterday. The manufacturer, Hawkes Ocean Technologies, will showcase two models of winged submersibles - Black Hawk and Super Falcon Mark II. They will not only be available to view, but also to place a pre-order. The Black Hawk model is designed for one passenger and the Super Falcon Mark II model is designed for two. They represent an expanded and improved generation of DeepFlight Hydrobatic Craft units.
Engineers promise high speed, range and maneuverability. All details are yet to be revealed by the manufacturer. «According to some estimates» private submarines are capable of diving to a depth of 120 meters and will cost between $1.35 million and $1.7 million. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2014-2015.
