Beneteau is expanding its Monte Carlo range of small motor yachts. The 15.1-metre Monte Carlo 5 will be replaced by the Monte Carlo 52, a 1.15-metre larger model which will be launched at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September. The maximum beam will also be increased by 0.33 metres to 4.6 metres compared to the previous model.

The exterior of the Monte Carlo 52 was designed by Carlo Nuvolari & Dan Lenard while Andreani Design worked on the interior. MICAD (Marine Innovation Consulting and Design) also contributed to the design of the V-hull. So despite Beneteau's French roots, the appearance of the boat is influenced by Italian design traditions.

«The new Monte Carlo 52 is elegant, chic and modern, yet spacious and light. She will be the first example of 'smart luxury' in Beneteau's generation of top cruisers»," the company describes the boat.

On the flybridge, the Monte Carlo 52 will be a very traditional combination of helm area and relaxation area. Sofas can accommodate eight people around a table. No need to carry food underneath, a full kitchen will be provided in the aft area.

Spacious living areas on the main deck will be bathed in sunlight thanks to large windows. The central lounge and elevated control area will have a panoramic 360 degree view.

A small but well-equipped galley will be relocated aft, closer to the cockpit, where a second alfresco dining area will be located.

The aft swim platform will not only offer water contact relaxation, but also an outside barbecue area. A sink will be provided next to the grill for convenience. The same area will offer access to an isolated single cabin on the lower deck. It is supposed to be dedicated to the sailor.

The sunbathing area forward of the Monte Carlo will be large enough to accommodate a total of four m² of sunbathing area with a single sun bed and a swivelling backrest. The space between the sunbeds will be glazed and the VIP stateroom down below will have an extra window.

Altogether there will be three guest cabins on the lower deck, one for the owner and two for the guests. The owner will get panoramic windows and portholes in his/her amidships and an additional private bathroom. Another feature of the forward (VIP) guest stateroom, in addition to the skylight, is a sliding double bed that can easily be converted into two single beds if needed.

«A distinctive feature of all Beneteau Monte Carlo yachts is a good acoustic isolation and low noise level of 60-70 dB inside the cabin when cruising. According to this indicator the yacht is considered the best in its segment», - adds the Russian Monte Carlo dealers, Smart Yachts.

All interiors will be minimalist and very fashionably finished in light wood.

Thanks to a light modern hull with a hydrodynamic bow that cuts a wave perfectly, the boat will be able to glide easily. A Volvo IPS 600 engine will propel her to a top speed of 28 knots. The cruising speed will be 22 knots.

Maneuvering on the new MC52 will be possible with a joystick and control of all the electronics on board will be possible through the display. The mass can also be controlled remotely, using a key fob.

Exclusive sea test drives of the Monte Carlo 52 will be conducted this summer at the official Beneteau base in the Port of Ginesta (Barcelona).

This opportunity will be available through Smart Yachts to Russian yachtsmen.

The minimum cost of the boat is estimated at €610 thousand.
