Prince William and his wife chase the America's Cup

Prince William and his wife Kate will take part in a small informal race. The royal family will race the NZL41 and NZL68, which have competed in the «America's Cup» « under the» Team New Zealand banner. The racing route will take in the vicinity of Princes Wharf, a marina in Auckland.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be battling it out against each other, supported by a host of experienced sailors. Dean Barker will assist the Duchess and Grant Dalton will assist the Duke.

There will be 20 people on each of the yachts competing, including Team New Zealand crew members, Royal NZ Yacht Squadron youth representatives and helpers from the celebrity couple.

The Duke and Duchess were very easy-going and eager to participate, organisers said.
