One of the latest additions to the Southampton Boat Show, taking place from 13-22 September, will be a Predator sports boat from the UK-based Sunseeker shipyard. A world premiere awaits the 18.24-metre Predator 60 EVO, the first model created according to the new concept in Sunseeker's yacht design.

While the designers have retained the general recognizable lines of the superstructure, they have added a number of innovative features to her exterior styling. «The new generation» Predators have a new shaped window frame with stainless steel trim, and carbon fibre glazing panels have been added to the hardtop, further enhancing interior spaces with natural light.

Inside, we've added interesting touches as well, with the cockpit door now not only opening the usual way, but also dropping to the floor to create a single space from the cockpit and saloon. The Williams 325 JetRIB tender is launched with a hydraulic swim platform.

The boat's control panel has undergone innovations. It was ergonomically designed and equipped with the latest generation Simrad touch screen display. This is the control station we will be seeing on all other new Sunseeker models going forward.

The extensive engine line-up allows the Predator 60 EVO to run up to 34 knots. Shaft-driven engines or IPS bottom-mounted turntables can be installed.

«The hull can be fitted with a range of engine and drive options, including all the latest Volvo Penta D13-1000 shaft-driven engines, capable of speeds up to 34 knots», according to the shipyard. The interior of the Predator 60 is also packed with features.

With a maximum load, the Predator 60 can accommodate up to 12 guests, with three double guest cabins on the lower level and a single crew cabin. The master stateroom at midships is equipped with its own spacious bathroom. The hull width in this part of the boat is 4.7 meters.
